Da Nang Gallery
The Da Nang Collection features numerous artifacts collected prior to 1975 from the sites of Phong Le, Qua Giang, and Xuan Duong.
Surveys conducted over the past 40 years since 1975 have revealed additional artifacts and architectural traces of the Champa period in other localities across Da Nang City, such as the An Son, Khue Trung, and Go Dui sites. Notably, archaeological excavations carried out between 2012 and 2014 at the Phong Le and Cam Mit sites unearthed religiously significant artifacts embedded within the foundations deep beneath Cham tower structures.
These sculptural works, inscriptions, and architectural remains demonstrate that the Da Nang region was a thriving center of economy and trade within the Champa Kingdom from the 9th through the 13th centuries CE.
