Quang Ngai Gallery
Unlike the neighboring provinces of Quang Nam and Binh Dinh, no standing Cham towers remain in present-day Quang Ngai Province. However, since the early 20th century, archaeologists have surveyed and identified numerous Cham sites across the region, including Dong Phuc, Phu Tho, Co Luy, and Chau Sa.
Notably, an excavation in 1904 at the Chanh Lo site (located in modern-day Quang Ngai Town) revealed the remains of a major temple complex dating to around the 11th century CE, along with a rich assemblage of artifacts. In early 2017, the foundation of another Cham tower was discovered at Thien But Mountain, in close proximity to the Chanh Lo site.
