Bàu Trúc Cham Pottery Crafting Workshop with Master Artisans

The pottery art of the Cham people in Bàu Trúc village is inscribed on UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding. This experiential workshop invites visitors to encounter this millennia-old tradition.
Moving Around the Clay Without a Wheel
Unlike conventional ceramic traditions, Cham artisans mold pots by walking backwards around the clay mound, shaping the form entirely by hand and incising delicate shell and geometric motifs.
Participants craft their own miniature amphorae and terracotta figurines guided directly by master craftswomen from Ninh Thuan province.
